Ever since I can remember, radio has played a meaningful role in my life. As a child, I fondly recall being by my mother’s side, as we sat contently listening to music on the FM dial. For hours, we’d be engaged by the DJs rapid and vibrant voice, as he would enthusiastically mix from one tune to the next. Throughout my childhood and into my teens, I remained captivated by the medium that is radio.
In 2007, I co-hosted and produced my first radio show at university. The show rapidly grew in popularity and won an award for ‘Best Evening Show of the Year. Combined with my passion for media; this accolade reinforced my desire to pursue a career in broadcasting.
Over the years I have been actively involved in community radio varying from hosting, producing and creating radio branding assets.
I have discussed an array of topics, revealed inner most secrets and met a catalogue of people all through the medium that is radio.
